From 30 June 2021 insurers will be the single point of contact if your home or land is damaged in a natural disaster and you need to make a claim. The cover and excesses remain the same, but now insurers will assess, manage and settle the entire claim including the EQC cover part of the claim.
The goal is to simplify the claims process during what is undoubtedly an already stressful time.
